Before you buy a new domain, do this.

Brand something out of nothing

How to buy a domain depends on the perspective you want to look at.

If you take a look at big boy brands majority of them have a cool sounding domain name which you can easily replicate into other branches from the one they are in.

Example: Take Apple, they sell devices, you can easily take that and make a healthy, natural store called Apple. You can easily create a clothing brand with an innovative apple logo and name it, yeap, Apple.

Today naming at least in my perspective is severely important, you need to have a name which is easily pronounced, doesn’t have a high chance to be misspelled and easily memorable.

Me and Nikola spent hours scrolling through namelix.com searching for the next perfect thing and after hours of scrolling I just got a lightbulb over my head, let’s call it MAYPACT.

So far people that commented on it’s name say it sounds extremely professional, if you ask Nikola we’re a military contractor business the way name sounds, but we actually do web developing and branding for small businesses.

When picking a domain do the following:

  • Google name first to see your competition
  • Double check domain extensions which are taken on PorkBun (has best prices and extremely friendly support among very frequent offers on popular extensions)
  • Go to Social Media channels to check your domain availability, such as Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter (X), Facebook, Other..
  • Head over to Who.is to double check has that domain been already registered in the past.
