Project Brief
Lambeth needed a way to get their community together. Doing it locally all the time required a significant time and wasn’t as impactful as reaching to your user base via internet.
We helped out client launch an online community with interactive map which held events but also online education system in order to provide educational elements.

Joss and Richard explained that in order to get people together in London you need to have a place.
Using Facebook groups and similar was doing an okay work; however it required a lot of work to keep people updated on everything that going on in their neighbourhood, but also they needed a way to educate their fellow citizens how can they help keep Lambeth cleaner.
Pain Points
Here’s why social groups that GoodPeople assisted needed a website:
Organising events through Facebook takes a lot of time and maintenance- Event registration required taking payments from various methods and had no online payment as an option
- No way to directly interact with your broader audience other than posting in group
- Online courses had no real way to be presented to their broad audience group
- Interest for local events easily gets buried in big amount of notifications all parties receive
With ability to run email marketing but also have an option for their audience to register for an event and pay for it online brought massive interest from the local communities.
Their online courses could easily be signed up for and finished on the website. They had their whole system right on the website, without a single need to go away from it to check anything.
Their community system on the website brought communities to interact with each other in social groups both public and private ones and help them organise local events mutually which expanded their reach and message.

Broad website like we’ve done for Lambeth takes an average of two to three months, while it all also depends on the amount of content they need and require as well as overall structure of how they want their website to have.
This particual project was completed to be fully operational in a span of two and a half months, and had extra two months of adding on demand features to deepen their connection with audience.

We built education system with a number of courses which were used by a number of individuals within London.
All courses were a walkthrough environmental changes and how you as an individual can take care and help preserve nature.
Advanced map settings
We integrated a live map into the website to allow our client to create events which were seen on an interactive map throughout London area.

Another cool thing we provided was ability to hold a webinar right there on the platform which was a promising feature for various type of meetings.

Signup using Socials
This was a significant factor to allow Facebook and Google sing-up on the platform so emails and names could be automatically recognised without users spending time to create their profiles in depth.
User could at any time update their profiles to include additional information about them.
