I had the pleasure of working with Maypact on the development and maintenance of a website for selling natural cosmetics, and I can confidently say that I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. The website was developed in a very short period of time, with high quality, and all of my requests were precisely and efficiently fulfilled. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for professional and reliable website development and maintenance.

Why did we built this?

When discussing with the Sara what would she like, she was very open that she does not know much if any regarding what would be ideal for her online business. She needs to focus on making perfect products and she puts trust in Maypact to come up with ideas to get this website going.

While sometimes it’s great to have your hands free in that sense, in another it’s challenging cause you have to build something on instinct that the client will like but also more importantly their customers would.

Zdrava Kozmetika – Some notable features

Product blocks

I’ve done a great deal of re-writing how this should be approached, at the end current look of having all necessary options straight on the product block will be an absolute win for users.

@Stefan

Product ingredients

Whenever I went through cosmetics website, they all pack their ingredients in smallest boxes like we all know what those are. I’ve built a whole inventory system where our client can pick and choose ingredients when adding the product and those same ingredients have a backstory which people can use to educate themselves what is that specific ingredient and what benefits does it have.

@Stefan

Product bulk buy

When you have small stock it’s important to know if someone’s willing to buy an exclusive stock for their use. I’ve added a form where user can pick whether my client should email them or call them to efficiently resolve all inquiries regarding bulk buys.

@Stefan

Product about us

Descriptive and funny product about us to give you some sense on what that product does for you and your skin or home.

@Stefan

Stock scarcity

You can see stock availability wherever you go, this was intentionally done to note to the user that their “I will buy it later” can resolve in waiting for another stock to drop.

@Stefan

Stock reminders

Whenever product is out of stock, whenever that product was added, purchase option has been replaced with “Remind me” form to collect purposeful emails which would later be used automatically whenever that product is back in stock.

ZdravaKozmetika Logo

Special thanks to external help from Makee, friend of Kate in making an amazing ZdravaKozmetika logo which is available in three variants.

@Makee

Custom emails

By default WooCommerce has set of emails it sends through the whole ordering process, I dislike those therefore made them custom and according the client’s need.

@Stefan

Instagram Automation *in progress

Currently I am setting Instagram automation where influencers looking to work with my client’s brand upon specific keywords in a DM they send will trigger an automatic response which will direct that traffic to a specific form specially crafted for influencers. With this I saved my client extreme amount of time but not only that yet as well accuracy of info.

@Stefan

Independent analytics

Pretty much any button you click on a website is being tracked and later it generates a report so my client knows what’s the current wanted products to possibly promote further but also see what may not be working with the ones left behind.

Here’s what this first view of the single product page gets you:

  • Offer the user a chance to register account since they already fill in the delivery information, it saves them time!
  • Clear and un-disturbed delivery information, ONLY take information you need, do not stack on un-necessary delivery information, in our case we do not need the state.
  • Stock scarcity on the right side again to be visible
  • Total costs + Shipping costs keep them separate so your product price wouldn’t appear higher
  • Total cost of both shipping and product in one uniformed price

What’s our goal with this website?

Main direction we aimed to achieve is availability of information, being able to introduce products, being able to collect information, being able to track user interactions. Nowadays, it’s challenging to see what our cosmetics are build out of as all ingredients are hidden in small text somewhere at the bottom of the label.

Goal that we developed with our client evolves strictly around educating their customers and visitors on how they cosmetics is being made, we have not pulled any marketing tactics to promote this brand as of yet, we will build a dedicated form towards influencers as well as campaign driven ads to promote products in the near future.

While many recommend, we tend to let a website sit for a full month with additional content being added every couple of days in order to make sure ads are not being launched way to soon so we can avoid potential blacklists or similar due to the new domain.
